We conclude that the motor vehicle (or some equivalent machine) is a beneficial invention with an assured future, largely on account of the great advantages it offers for door-to-door travel and transport. There is an enormous potential demand for its services, and we think a constructive approach to the problem of accommodating it in towns and cities is both required and justified.
